This NGO after being registered in District Administrative Office Saptari during 1994 has maily focused on women empowerment and poverty reduction through capacity building and enterprenership. The first project was Microcredit project for women – MCPW a joint venture between Asian Development Bank and Nepal Government. This NGO was a partner NGO of that programme from 1 Feb 1996 to 30 Jun 2002. During that six years the main objective of the NGO was to form women enterprener groups . Those groups were given the basic trainning, skill development trainning, business plan trainnings . And after those capacity building trainnings each and every members of the groups had their own choise to select their business. The role of the NGO  was to fill their forms and get the approval from the Mahila Bikas Sakha (The Government Body) and finally those approved papers were submitted to the commercial bank (Nepal Bank Limited ). That was the last role of the NGO. Then the loan was disbursed by the bank to the women members to start their business . And in this way NGO has helped 560 women to get loan at subsidized interest rate to start their small enterprenership . During six years of that project the board members and the employee got several capacity building traings and the exposure visits .

After completion of the MCPW project Nepal Rastra bank selected top 25 NGOs out of 90 for financial Intermediatory programme launched by Nepal government through financial intermediatory Act 2055 . This NGO was selected for that and got the licence from Nepal Rastra bank to run financial intermediatory programme. That was the programme  through which the poor and deprived strata of the community had an opportunity to start their own small and medium size Enterprize. And due to long association 17.5 years in that programme there was a great change in their social and economical condition.
